We tried out breakfast in the classroom today so busy kids could keep working while hungry kids could eat. It worked out great. It turned out everyone was hungry.

After Breakfast we had a Morning Circle, singing the top three most requested songs: 

#1 Funny Clown  (The Two's have recently started wanting to take a turn being the clown too)

Watch him/her do a funny trick inside the circus ring DING(cue the clown)
 

#2 Land of the Silver Birch ( thanks to Valerie who taught me this song in 2009 while working at Ithaca Montessori School)

Home of the beaver (fold hands and show front teeth)

Where still the mighty moose (make antlers by putting thumb tips against your head and spread fingers up)
