It was a wonderful day here at ACH, with children busy and engaged during morning and afternoon work times.

 

Children used our homemade, recycled, multi-colored mini-muffin crayons to make rubbings of various textures and objects.

 

The children have been very interested in the animal nesting dolls, taking them apart and putting them back together over and over.

Everyone cracked open eggs to scramble for breakfast. After breakfast we went outside and spent some time with the goats, feeding them, petting them,  and watching them climb and play together. Then children had fun taking off their boots and burying their feet in the sandbox.

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, Toast (Ezekiel) with butter

Lunch: Brown Rice

            Steamed Tofu and Broccoli (local)

            Mashed roasted Butternut Squash

Snack: Tapioca Pudding, Clementines

  

In the afternoon, we worked on stringing colored noodles to make all sorts of beautiful accessories, and drew pictures with markers.
